Nokia Normandy surfaces again
Another rumour has leaked that heavily suggests that a Nokia Normandy mobile phone will become a reality, with many speculating that it could arrive at next month's MWC 2014.
The device is currently only known by its codename but it is thought to be a Nokia version of Android.
Unsurprisingly, the leak comes from serial tipsters @evleaks who has been at the forefront of a great deal of Nokia-based rumours. The leaked screenshot show two different homescreens - one looks like a Windows Phone with its grid of tiles, whereas the other is more like an Android layout.
Many thought that, as Microsoft recently bought Nokia's device division, releasing a smartphone that ran a competitor's operating system would be a massive no-no. However, all signs are now pointing towards Nokia Normandy being a reality.
Although it's difficult to determine how legitimate the leaks are, with the MWC 2014 just around the corner, we shouldn't have to wait too much longer to find out.
One interesting thing about the leaks, as spotted by PocketNow, is that the date shown on the shots is Tuesday 25th. The MWC conference is happening the week of Tuesday February 25th, which could be a small clue.
