Nokia improves camera app
Nokia has certainly impressed many with the camera abilities of its latest range of Lumia mobile phones. However, the Finnish firm refuses to leave it there as it has upgraded its camera app once more.
The change will allow users to capture RAW images and will be available to owners of the Nokia Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1520. The free update can be purchased by these customers now but is expected to roll-out to other Lumia handsets.
RAW images are much bigger files than JPEGs but have more data and detail, which should produce clearer and better images for users. The uncompressed digital pictures mean that there is a minimal amount of post processing.
Users should notice a significant change when they download the update for their camera app. However, it's unclear at the moment when the change will include other Lumia users other than the two featured in this first update.
