Mobile phones "the natural device" for portable music
Mobile phones are unmistakably a top choice for consumers looking to listen to music on the move, according to a spokesman for Nokia.
Jo Harlow of the company's devices division stated that to date over 700 million Nokia phones have been sold featuring radios, while more than 450 million have been bought with digital music capabilities.
This, she said, "clearly shows that the mobile phone is the natural device for listening to the music and carrying it with you".
Her comments were made as Nokia launched three new music mobiles - the Nokia 5030, the Nokia 5330 XpressMusic and the Nokia 5730 XpressMusic - and announced the expansion of its Comes With Music service and Nokia Music Stores.
XpressMusic models previously available in the marketplace include the Nokia 5220 and the Nokia 5800.
Mazuma Mobile will buy working versions of the former for £42 and working versions of the latter for £113.
