Mobile phone buyers on a budget offered tips
A mobile phone expert has offered those looking for a new device with a strict budget some advice on the models they should be targeting.
Hannah Bouckley, writing for T3, says the iPhone 4 and HTC Desire are undoubtedly the industry's "top dogs" at present, but they are not affordable to everybody.
Those constrained by their bank balance should instead look towards the HTC Wildfire, which the author believes offers the best overall value.
Alternatively, social networking fans may wish to choose the Motorola Flipout, which is named as the best for accessing Facebook, Twitter and such sites, while the Palm Pixi Plus has the top screen.
Professionals are likely to find all they require in the BlackBerry Curve 3G and busy Britons could be attracted to the most portable phone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini.
All the devices mentioned by Ms Bouckley retail at no more than £250, she assures readers.
However, those prepared to splash out more could opt for recent releases such as the Nokia N8, HTC Mozart 7 and HTC Desire HD.
