LG unveils F Series LTE mobile phones
LG already unveiled its next-generation L Series II mobile phone range ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), and it has now showcased another new line-up: the F Series.
The Optimus F5 features a 4.3-inch display, 1.2 GHz processor and five-megapixel camera, while the F7 has more impressive 4.7-inch touchscreen, 1.5 GHz CPU and eight-megapixel snapper specifications.
Both devices support Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, meaning that buyers will be able to take advantage of high-speed 4G internet connections.
President and chief executive Dr Jong-seok Park said: "We are sending a clear message to consumers with the Optimus F Series that LTE is not just for heavy content users and techies anymore. It is for everyone."
Each will also come pre-loaded with the Android Jelly Bean operating system, which means users have access to apps, movies, music and books through Google Play.
Innovative features, such as QSlide for more convenient multi-tasking and Safety Care for added peace of mind, are incorporated too.
