With navigation, 3D displays and up-to-the-minute information available via the app, those at the wheel may never get lost with Ovi by their side.
But that is not to say there are no other navigation apps that can come in handy when undertaking a long journey, particularly as holiday season approaches.
Nokia Conversations has revealed its top apps for the Finnish brand's mobile users, starting with Waze.
It noted this is a tool that allows drivers to connect with other motorists, as it provides links to the Facebook accounts of other users currently on the same road.
Poynt is another app to meet with the online publication's approval, as it is praised for its ability to provide local information, while Trapster alters drivers to the presence of speed cameras.
