Demand for iPad changes corporate market
New research has shown that demand for the new iPad is having a large effect on the corporate tablet market.
A recent ChangeWave Research survey of 1,604 business IT buyers shows the significant impact the iPad 3 is having in the corporate industry.
Just over one in five (22 per cent) companies say they'll be purchasing tablets for their employees during the second quarter of 2012 and the number that reported they will be buying Apple iPads has jumped to the highest level of corporate demand ever.
A total of 84 per cent of companies planning to buy tablets in the next quarter stated they would be looking to purchase the iPads.
It is not just the corporate world in which the iPad 3 is proving to be exceedingly popular, as reports from a plethora of countries revealed earlier this week that consumer pre-order sales had exceeded shipments, which has led to delays of up to two weeks.
