BlackBerry Q5 released
Although the BlackBerry Q5 has only just been officially released, the internet has managed to leak pretty much everything to do with the Canadian firm's next "affordable" mobile phone, so there was very little left for Thorsten Heins to unveil.
The BlackBerry 10 device was marketed as the "affordable" option for consumers, but with UK retailers selling it in excess of £300, it will stretch the limits of budget-friendly.
According to TechRadar, Phones4U is selling the handset for £21 per month over two years, which comes with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data with Vodafone, although other networks are supported, apart from O2, which won't be stocking the BlackBerry Q5. SIM-free the device will set you back £399.95.
Vodafone tariffs start at £29 a month with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.
EE is selling the device for £31 per month for two years will unlimited calls and texts and 1GB of data. Carphone Warehouse is selling it for £21 a month and £319.95 SIM-free.
Other networks are also offering the BlackBerry Q5 including Three, Virgin and online sellers.
