LG GT500 'a fine example of a budget touchscreen'
Consumers looking to recycle mobilephones for a low-cost touchscreen device may be interested in the comments featured in a new review.
Trusted Reviews' Edward Chester looked at the LG GT500 device and explained that as the latest in a long line of affordable touchscreen handsets, the model is "a fine example".
Simple styling and small dimensions may make the phone appealing for some, while the article singled out features such as a "quick and responsive" operating system and an easy-to-navigate menu as worthy of note.
It concluded by explaining that although the LG GT500 cannot boast the same level of sophistication to be found on many of it's siblings, it "does the phone basics well".
The handset also a 5-megapixel camera complete with LED flash, 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity, a three-inch screen and a two-way camera system for video calling.
According to a recent review for the Link's website, the device is not a bad option when its availability on a number of low-cost T-Mobile contracts is considered.
