The ZTE Grand S was debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 – an event which has already hosted a number of high-end mobile phone launches.
A powerful Snapdragon S4 Pro processor supports the Android Jelly Bean software, providing a speedy and smooth user experience.
Long Term Evolution (LTE) also gives users access to the fastest 4G connections, meaning data can be downloaded or streamed quickly on-the-go.
Currently, EE is the only UK mobile provider to offer this service, but an Ofcom auction means the high-speed network should be more widespread soon.
Photographs taken on the 13-megapixel camera will look fantastic on the FHD screen, as will games, movies and magazines downloaded from Google Play.
Corporate vice president of ZTE Kan Yulun said: "The ZTE Grand S gives our customers the latest in technology, functionality and style."
At just 6.9 mm thin, most users will be able to comfortably hold the handset and control the five-inch display with ease.
