Black Eyed Peas and solo singing superstar Will.i.am has unveiled a range of luxury Apple iPhone accessories called i.am+.
Products will reportedly clip onto 4S or 5 handset versions, transforming the eight-megapixel camera into a 14-megapixel snapper, and offering an improved flash function.
There will also be interchangeable lenses available, so the more avid photographers may be able to ditch the dedicated camera once and for all.
Pew Research Center’s Internet and American Life Project recently discovered that taking pictures is the most popular mobile phone activity, so there could be a huge market.
One version of the accessory includes a slide-out keyboard, aiding those iPhone owners who prefer to type with physical buttons.
The range will be exclusively available from Selfridges, and prices will start from £199, depending on the design chosen.
Buyers will also be able to download the associated application from the App Store, which allows users to edit images, akin to capabilities of popular tool Instagram.
