An increasing number of people in the US are said to be impressed with mobile phones released by Finnish brand Nokia.
Jason, writing a piece for Nokia Conversations, explained he is "really excited" about the recent launch of the Astound.
He noted in a world where smartphone prices are typically high, the model is an affordable and hi-tech option.
The author went on to note some of the factors that make Nokia so popular – both in the States and perhaps in the UK – and are found on the new Astound.
Firstly, he suggested the company is renowned for the unique features it includes in its designs, such as GPS and FM radios.
Communication technology that allows people to stay in touch – from in-built emails to social networking and SMS – is also a key ingredient in the firm's success.
Nokia recently announced it has created a pink version of its popular N8 handset.
