With the Mobile World Congress 2014 (MWC) just weeks away, it's no surprise that the rumour mill is going into overdrive about what mobile phones could make their debut. Sony's Xperia Z2 is one of the handsets being tipped for a release at the Barcelona event.
However, new rumours appear to suggest that the smartphone will be a super-thin smartphone. Newly-leaked photos show a extra slim design, according to the Chinese forum Digi-woo.
The image shows a Sony-looking device, with its icons and colour scheme, and it looks to be a super-skinny gadget.
It's not clear how the user on the forum managed to get hold of the images, which means that you'll need to take this leak with a pinch of salt. However, it is entirely possible that Sony could be producing a super thin handset to try and compete with its premium rivals.
