People with a hunger for the latest news at the touch of a button may have plenty to gain from trading in their mobiles and upgrading to an iPhone.
The Times has confirmed it is relaunching its app for the Apple model, providing users with headlines as they break from around the world.
Whether it is the latest events in Westminster, stories from the world of sport or the views of expert columnists that interest users, subscribing to the app may be a good move.
It is said that there will be an initial preview period for access to the newspaper, after which the service will cost £2 a week.
Those who enjoy it will be able to save their favourite topics to ensure the type of articles that interest them appear on the main screen.
Apple released the iPhone 4 last year and it is to date the newest model of the handset, although speculation persists that it intends to launch the fifth incarnation later in 2011.
