People all over the country are likely to be gearing up to head to some of the biggest music festivals such as Reading or Leeds.
With that in mind, it is important that people make preparations for all eventualities, especially given the horrendous weather seen all over the country in the last few weeks.
One thing that often gets forgotten about in preparations is your mobile phone. People are often preoccupied with getting their tent and clothing all sorted for he big event but few think of the consequences of taking a smartphone to a festival.
Staying in a muddy field when alcohol is being consumed is not always the best place to be handling a smartphone and as such it might be a good idea to take an older phone to a festival.
This is according to author of Ken’s Tech Tips Ken Lo, who added: “It certainly makes no sense to take your £500 top-of-the-range smartphone given the risk of water damage from the rain, drops in the mud and festival mosh pits.”
