Equipped with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, integrated media player for music and video, five-megapixel camera and running on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 platform, the MDA Compact V will be available from May 21st.
According to T Mobile, the device builds on the Compact IV version by offering "elegant styling with an impressive feature list".
In addition, the network’s head of handset and device marketing in the UK Daniel Meredith commented that the model comes with a set of internet-focused features that take the mobile web "to a new level".
He added: "It’s also the first MDA device to boast all the benefits offered by the very latest Microsoft Windows Mobile platform."
It is not the only network-exclusive device currently available from the carrier.
The Google Android-powered T Mobile G1 is available with this carrier alone, although an unbranded version of the phone – known as the HTC Dream – is also on the market.
