Mobile users hoping to win an 11-night holiday to Kenya or other great prizes from Orange may wish to sell their used phones and upgrade to one of the latest handsets.
That is because the network has announced the popular game Balloonacy is to return, starting on November 8th and running for nine days.
To win, consumers must register and select a hot air balloon that is then raced around the internet, visiting favourite sites such as Facebook on the way.
Whoever is first to reach the "edge of the internet" will win the luxury trip, while others can compete for a break in Egypt and free cinema tickets.
But to do so, users may find they need the latest smartphone with up-to-date web browsing technology.
Spencer McHugh, director of brand at Everything Everywhere, says: "At Orange, we're committed to innovating in the digital space, by finding new and exciting ways to surprise consumers through engaging, stand-out campaigns."
Among the smartphones to be released in recent weeks are the Nokia N8 and HTC Desire HD, both of which could be ideal for taking part in Balloonacy.
