Another super-sized mobile phone has hit the UK market in the form on the Huawei Ascend Mate. It may find itself pretty popular too, with its reasonable price tag of £335 for the sim-free handset.
The 6.1-inch device was launched in January as the "world's largest smartphone" but that title has since been taken from the Chinese company by Samsung with its new Galaxy Mega.
For just over £300 users will be able to own a mighty quad-core 1.5GHz smartphone which runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has 4G capabilities.
It also sports 2GB of RAM and an eight-megapixel camera all powered by 4,050mAh battery, which claims it will last for 22 hours of talk time.
It will be interesting to see whether users opt for the Huawei Ascend Mate, which has hit the UK market first or bide their time and wait for the Samsung Galaxy Mega's release in July.
