Screenshots have leaked online which give some idea of what the Sony Xperia Z2's interface may look like. Images of the mobile phone have appeared on the XperiaBlog and claim to be from a Android 4.4.2 KitKat build.
According to the images, the camera appears to have changed since its predecessor – the Sony Xperia Z1 – and the screenshots suggest that it will be capable of 4K video recording. There is also a feature called 'Timeshift video', which allows users to record in high quality and add slow motion effects.
The images have hinted at a number of other extra features that should impress users, though we have seen other manufacturers bring out similar ones. The smart backlight control keeps the screen on while you are looking at it, while smart call handling allows you to answer calls just by placing the handset next to your ear.
According to the images, the Sony Xperia Z2 seems to allow users to wake up the screen by double tapping and you can also use the touchscreen when wearing gloves.
