The Sony Xperia T will be available before the end of the month, according to TechRadar.
A SIM-free version looks set to be priced at around £414, as both Clove and Unlocked Mobiles currently have the phone available for pre-order around this mark. The official price has not been confirmed, however.
The device has a 4.55-inch 720p HD screen. The rear-facing camera packs 13-megapixels, has an LED flash and can record full HD video. The front-facing camera delivers 1.3-megapixels and captures 720p footage.
The Android operating system looks likely to be Ice Cream Sandwich, with a Jelly Bean update available soon after release.
Near Field Communication technology features, allowing customers to use their mobile phone as an e-wallet.
Head of devices at Three, Sylvia Chind, said the Xperia T is “a premium and stylish smartphone […] with the very latest technology and top quality features”.
Two more smartphones in the range, the Xperia V and Xperia J should be released later this year.
