The Sony Xperia J mobile phone is now on sale, currently available exclusively through the telecommunications network Three.
The device has lower specifications than its sister Xperia T ‘James Bond’ smartphone, but it has a fantastic price tag.
Buyers can purchase the handset on pay-as-you-go for just £149.99 from Three, or alternatively take out a two-year contract from just £13 per month.
A four-inch screen makes the gadget’s display the same size as that found on an Apple iPhone 5, and it is also scratch resistant so that owners can keep their phone in pristine condition for longer.
Buyers will also be able to take high-quality snaps thanks to a five-megapixel camera which has auto-focus, as well as an LED flash for darker scenes.
The Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system powers the device, offering users access to Google Play, which has over 700,000 applications available for download.
Owners will be able to utilise the 4 GB of internal memory to store photographs and apps, as well as video and music files.
