Recycling mobiles in order to switch to the Sony Tablet S could be on the minds of many Sony PlayStation 3 owners.
That is because the technology manufacturer has released an update for the handset that allows users to connect their games console’s controllers to the device.
According to Ubergizmo, the tool has already been rolled out and is specially designed to work on the PlayStation 3-certified tablet.
For now, the publication noted the update is available to Japanese users, but it could soon be spread around the world.
In some areas where the Sony Tablet S has yet to be released, the upgrade could be present when it finally hits the shelves.
Another tool for mobile users to enjoy is the BBC iPlayer app, which now offers the chance to catch up on television shows through a 3G connection.
Broadbandchoices.co.uk recently said people who use this service should be aware of their data allowance.
