Two new phones, the Sony Ericsson Zylo and Spiro, have been revealed by the manufacturer and will offer users improved access to social networking sites even when they are listening to music.
Music fans could find their existing handset offers limited technology and does not provide them with the fix of songs they desire.
"The Sony Ericsson range of Walkman phones has seen tremendous success since it was first launched in 2005 having sold more than 130 million handsets to date – and we are still seeing a great appetite from consumers," said marketing business manager at Sony Ericsson Jenny Maltesson.
She added that customers would also be able to benefit from improved access to social networking sites alongside its current music technology.
A Sony Ericsson mobile with 3UK could also be worth considering as it recently announced it will offer Spotify premium free for two months to XPERIA X10 and Vivaz users.
