People who sell a mobile phone for money and use the cash towards buying an iPhone will be in a position to enjoy some of the best apps on the market.
They include those mentioned by Chris Smith, writing for T3, who says a number of quality features have been launched in the last week.
He starts by nominating Google Voice, which has finally been added to the list of downloads available to users of the Apple model, albeit to US-based consumers to start with.
He goes on to mention Pulse News – described as the “finest news aggregator out there” – that does not cost a penny.
Also to receive the backing of Mr Smith is the Twitter app, which has been updated so that every alert is displayed on the home screen, as well as a forthcoming tool that will show people how many calorites they have consumed in a meal, day or week.
Apple’s most recent incarnation of the model, the iPhone 4, was released in the UK and four other countries in June.
