Reports indicate that once Samsung officially launches its next flagship mobile phone, there will also be an Active version released for the more heavy-duty user.
The news that there will be an Active variant of the Samsung Galaxy S5 has come from unknown sources who spoke with SlashGear. This isn’t an unexpected step for the firm as it did the exact same thing when it released the S5’s predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S4.
If the rumours are true, it’s not a big leap of faith as Samsung is used to offering multiple versions of its handsets, and more of its rivals are copying them.
The website also speculated a release date for the Samsung Galaxy S5 as it expects that the device won’t launch until next year.
However, there is no official word from Samsung on when its next flagship will be released, so it’s best, as always, to take this report with a pinch of salt.
