Although the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 hasn't hit shops yet the company is enjoying something of a hot streak, after revealing its sixth consecutive quarter of rising profits.
The Korean firm has managed to take another chunk out of Apple's market share thanks to the success of the Galaxy S3 and Note among others.
It has celebrated its sixth quarter of profits in a row and the main contributor would seem to be sales of its beautiful smartphones. The devices made up three-quarters of the profits in the last quarter.
The news seems to rub salt in the wounds for Apple as earlier this week it reported its first loss of profit in over ten years. The American company has even seen its market share drop from 23 per cent to just 17.3 per cent too.
Samsung seems to be soaring where Apple is struggling at the moment with the Korean firm's share increasing from 28.8 to 32.7 per cent and reports suggest it shipped somewhere in the region of 70.7 million devices in the first quarter of this year alone.
