People on the lookout for a new mobile phone in the coming months may be wise to opt for the Samsung Omnia 7, if one reviewer's words are found to be accurate.
Luke Westaway, writing for CNET UK, says the model has a "sleek interface" and is generally an attractive device.
Perhaps the biggest excitement to technology fans will be the fact it runs on the new Windows Phone 7 operating system, although the expert points out there is little point in the most up-to-date platforms without great mobiles to use.
"It feels very square and solid to hold. That said, it's surprisingly light. In fact, this phone would be perfect for skimming across a lake and that's not an accolade we award lightly," the writer states.
Mr Westaway adds the selling point of the handset is likely to be its large and aesthetically-pleasing AMOLED screen, offering great colour and detail to users.
In recent days, Orange, O2 and Three have all confirmed they will stock phones that use Windows Phone 7.
