Samsung may release another addition to the Galaxy line of mobile phones globally by March 2013.
The South Korean company's latest Samsung Galaxy S3 handset was only released in the UK in June, but it seems that the manufacturer is already planning to unveil its successor.
A Samsung executive said the fourth-generation smartphone would make an appearance at the mobile world congress (MWC) in Barcelona in February 2013, reported the Korea Times.
The new Galaxy S4 will apparently have a five-inch screen, an increase from the S3's 4.8-inch display. This line of mobile phones should retain its use of Google's Android operating system.
There is also speculation that the handset will include a 13-megapixel camera.
Samsung may be trying to compete with Apple, which keeps a strict yearly schedule for iPhone launches and release dates.
The two technology giants are currently fighting in the courts, and Samsung recently commenced an advertising campaign mocking the latest Apple iPhone 5 mobile phone.
