The Samsung Galaxy S3 was the most popular mobile phone among consumers throughout 2012, outperforming handsets like the Apple iPhone 5.
The company's flagship device was released in May, and more than 30 million units have been sold worldwide.
Since its launch, it has consistently topped the uSwitch Mobile Phone Tracker, which monitors popularity using search, pre-order and sales statistics.
Samsung Galaxy models took gold, silver and bronze positions in the December chart, as the S3, S2 and Ace were seemingly all popular Christmas gifts.
Note 2, S3 Mini and Ace 2 phones were also in the top ten, meaning the South Korean manufacturer's range dominated the chart.
Apple's latest iPhone 5 device has not managed to topple its rival from top spot since hitting shelves in September, but has featured in the top five since its release.
Perhaps as consumers opted for more affordable presents, its predecessor, the 4S, ranked one place higher in the December Tracker.
