The Samsung Galaxy S3 has beaten the Apple iPhone 5 to become the most popular smartphone of the month for the third time running.
The South Korean manufacturer’s award-winning device has remained in the uSwitch Mobile Tracker top spot since its May release.
November’s list may hint towards which gadgets are most likely to be unwrapped on Christmas morning.
Perhaps as people seek to save money, the Apple iPhone 4S took second place, ahead of the newer sixth-generation model.
Google’s new Nexus 4 smartphone came in at number 5, although people may struggle to get hold of the SIM-free handset before Christmas, as it is still sold out on Google Play.
However, uSwitch telecommunications expert Ernest Doku believes that Apple could “reign supreme” in December.
“The iPhone 4S [may] take over in the final straight as the gift of choice for consumers, especially at these reduced price points,” he said.
While the website apparently has deals with a free 4S device from just £25 per month, the latest Apple handset contracts start at £36 per month.
