In a result that will not come as a huge surprise to gadget lovers, the Samsung Galaxy S3 took home the prize for Best Smartphone at the Global Mobile Awards 2013.
Numerous technology industry experts have honoured the handset, and more than 40 million units have been sold across the globe.
The South Korean company was also crowned top manufacturer, after releasing a string of other successful gadgets such as the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 Mini in 2012.
Various contributors to the mobile phone industry were celebrated and recognised for their accomplishments at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona.
Taking home the top prize for the entry-level mobile phone market was the Nokia Asha 305, which sports a three-inch touchscreen alongside music and video playback support.
The mobile Facebook tool, which has been downloaded more than 100 million times on Google Play alone, was rewarded with the Best Consumer App prize.
