Rumours are circulating that Samsung is set to unveil a Galaxy Q smartphone which will feature a folding screen.
Consumers might be able to take advantage of a huge, squarer display without compromising carrying convenience.
It could work by utilising futuristic technology which will seamlessly blend the images from two separate 5.3-inch screens when the device is opened.
A GLBenchmark report which allegedly corresponds to the device was published on MobileGeeks.de, and indicates a host of impressive specifications.
It could feature a 1.7 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM to provide speedy and smooth performance, alongside a 3,500 mAh battery for hours of power.
The device's main camera could offer eight-megapixel quality, whereas the front-facing snapper might offer two-megapixel images, SlashGear reports.
The South Korean manufacturer might unveil the Galaxy Q at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which takes place between February 25th and 28th in Barcelona.
Samsung could also introduce its next-generation Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 handsets at the technology event.
