Those looking to sell a mobile may increasingly be turning to Samsung when it comes to sourcing a replacement device.
Just a few days from the end of 2011, Broadband Genie has revealed the brand is almost certain to be the UK’s favourite for the year.
It said the firm should hold off the challenge posed by HTC to finish in top spot of the most popular providers among mobile buyers.
The website’s managing director Ciaron Dunne noted: “We’re recording around four sales by these two for every one for Apple, BlackBerry, Nokia and Sony Ericsson.”
He added that the two premier models of the year have been the Samsung Galaxy S and the HTC Desire, which are said to have taken “centre stage”.
Statistics compiled by AppData and reported by ZDNet UK recently showed that the UK’s favourite operating system for accessing Facebook is Android, narrowly ahead of Apple’s iOS system.
