Nokia fans who are thinking of selling a mobile phone in order to join the tablet revolution have been warned there is not yet any sign of such a device being released by the Finnish brand.
PhoneArena.com has reported that suggestions the company is plotting to unveil a tablet are wide of the mark.
On the back of its new Lumia range of mobiles and the impending launch of Windows 8, some believed a mini-computer could be the next step.
But the publication has confirmed there are no plans for a tablet, meaning those who upgrade to the brand over the coming months will have to choose only from its extensive range of phones.
However, chief executive Stephen Elop recently told YLE that the firm is "studying the markets carefully", so development of further models may not be far away.
Juniper Research recently predicted that Nokia will enjoy a successful 2012, triggering a boom in its popularity.
