Consumers recycling mobile phones to purchase a new pay-as-you-go device may be interested in Orange’s latest announcement.
The carrier has unveiled details of its Bright Top Ups offering, whereby users will be entered into a prize draw every time they add credit to their phone – with a one-in-three chance of winning each time.
Among the gifts Orange customers will be able to claim will be tickets to the Glasonbury Festival, as well as European breaks, portable BBQs, juggling balls and giant beach balls.
Pippa Dunn, director of pay-as-you-go at Orange UK, said the idea behind the offer was to offer more to its customers.
“Bright Top Ups from Orange will make topping up more fun and exciting,” she explained. “With a one in three chance to win a really great prize with every top-up, we’ll be giving away millions of instant prizes every month.”
The network recently announced it would offer the HTC Touch 3G on its business packages.
