The HTC Touch Pro2 is one of the latest phones to be added to Orange’s range of business-focused handsets, it has been announced.

According to the network, the device is packed with a host of features that make it ideal for those who need a handset for daily use outside the office as it features the Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 operating system.

In addition, buyers can expect a full qwerty keyboard and a new facility called Straight Talk, which allows in-email icons to be clicked to provide instant voice call access to the person who sent the message.

Francois Mahieu, director of devices at the network, said: "The HTC Touch Pro2 is packed with features to make everyday business tasks a great deal easier and is the ideal mobile companion for the busy business user."

The HTC Touch Pro2 boasts a 3.6-inch high-resolution touch screen and up to 8 GB of storage when a MicroSD card is used.

Orange also announced the appointment of Ian Smith as head of brand communications this week.
