Mobile phone operator O2 has launched a new app which allows users to listen to Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart tracks on-the-go.
O2 Tracks is available for free download through the App Store or Google Play for free, meaning those with Apple iPhone or Android devices can take advantage.
Customers of the telecommunications company will get a free two-month trial and will have to pay £1 per week if they want to continue using the service.
Gadget lovers tied to another network will be able to try out the features without paying a penny for two weeks, and will be charged £4.99 per month thereon.
Users will be able to stream the best-selling songs of the moment and will even have the ability to listen without an internet connection.
Installing the tool now will therefore allow smartphone owners to listen to tracks like Macklemore’s Thrift Shop and Emile Sande’s Clown on-the-go.
This could be one of the most affordable ways for pop music lovers to get their fix and keep up-to-date with chart developments.
