Nokia has already made the headlines this week as supposed code names for upcoming mobile phones leaked online.
This indicates that the Finnish manufacturer has a number of handsets in the pipeline, and we may soon have a date as to when they will be unveiled to the world.
Nokia’s new flagship – the Lumia 1820 – will be revealed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona next February (2014). It is thought that the device will also be joined by an eight-inch tablet for its launch.
This is according to NokiaPowerUser, which was contacted by an unknown source, so it’s difficult to determine how trustworthy the information is.
However, the source also said that the Lumia 1820 will be the company’s new flagship and have a metal unibody design, as well as a ‘Lytro-style’ camera.
If the device does include a Lytro camera, it would allow users to change the focus of a photo after it’s been taken.
It appears as though Nokia could be dropping the neon-coloured plastic that have been the focus of many of its previous devices, as well as focusing on cameras.
