Consumers mulling over the prospect of recycling a mobile phone and upgrading to a newer model may often be stuck on which of the latest devices to choose.
That choice could have just become a little more difficult, as Nokia announces the release of the new Nokia 5250 handset.
Ian, author of the Nokia Conversations blog, says multimedia and social networking features are among the highlights of the state-of-the-art mobile phone.
It includes a music player on the home screen, with the potential to store up to 4,000 tracks on the memory.
And instant access to sites such as Facebook, Twitter and MySpace is also available, ensuring owners never lose touch with their associates.
Meanwhile, those who rely on email rather than social networking to contact friends and work colleagues can visit Yahoo! Mail, Gmail and Ovi Mail services from the handset.
Further releases from Nokia are expected in 2010, such as the N8, which was originally due to be unveiled this month.
