Recent reports have indicated that Samsung's next Galaxy mobile phone could carry a three-sided wraparound display.
It is thought that the South Korean manufacturers will use this extra pixel space to display messages, stocks and other information on the sides.
To produce the wraparound display it is thought that Samsung will use an improved version of the Youm flexible display that was included in the Galaxy Round, which was revealed last month.
Bloomberg were the first to get its hands on the information from a variety of unnamed sources. The news provider indicated that the three-sided display tech could arrive in a Note or S phone, which could spark the start of a new range of Samsung devices.
The sources didn't cite any particular date we might see these three-sided screens but said that it could arrive in the second half of 2014.
With LG and Apple both producing devices with flexible displays, Samsung might be feeling the pressure to remain top dog when it comes to innovation.
