Many mobile phone users will be able to download Bad Piggies, a spin-off of the popular Angry Birds game, from September 27th.
Those people who own gadgets powered by the Apple iOS or Google Android operating systems will be able to install the application.
The developer, Rovio Entertainment, claims that it will come to Windows Phone devices shortly.
Bad Piggies is a cartoon physics game, just as its related Angry Birds, but users will now play with the pig as opposed to bird characters.
Executive vice president of games at Rovio, Petri Järvilehto, said: “[It] is the first glimpse into what’s going on in the imaginative and ingenious minds of the pigs.”
Those with Apple iPhones will be able to access the App Store to download the application.
Owners of Android handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S3 can get the game from Google Play for free.
Google Play users can also benefit from other select games having the special price of just 25 pence, as the company celebrates achieving 25 billion downloads.
