Mobile phone juggernaut Apple has plans to launch a new version of its online store application later this week.
According to 9to5Mac, the company will release a brand new version of its Apple Store app and offer users free content in order to drive more traffic to the site.
The updated site should be available from Tuesday (July 23rd) and will offer free stuff that can be downloaded for a limited period of time. It is thought this will include a variety of content such as iBooks, music and apps.
Although the apps will be free initially, they will require users to pay after a certain period of time. It is also thought the interface of Apple's Store app will be altered and updated to make it look more like the company's main website.
