Motorola says its next mobile phone will see manufacturer get the size “just right” for customers.
Rumours have been circulating about the Motorola X for a while, but reports that it will be arriving later this year seem to be on track.
Google and Motorola’s first partnership device is expected to carry the latest Android operating system Key Lime Pie, but not much else is known about the upcoming handset.
Although the firm’s design chief Jim Wicks hinted a few things about the Motorola X in an interview with PC Mag.
No concrete specifications were leaked, but he did say that the new device would be “just right” for every user. With more devices taking the motto “the bigger the better” to heart, the designer stressed that although size is important it isn’t everything.
He said: “There are some people that like a big display, but there’s also a lot of people that want something that’s just about right.”
The design chief said it is these consumers that the firm wants to target and it is focusing on simplicity to do this.
