Many mobile phone users were left wondering why the Moto X smartphone didn't make it out of the US. However, it appears that Motorola is planning a return to the UK market with a budget version of the device.
The Moto G handset has been the subject of rumours for a while now but it has this time appeared in a fairly credible source. Phones4U promotional material features the device, which is expected to go on sale in time for Christmas.
GSM Arena got its hands on the promotional card, as well as some specifications for the device. According to the digital website, it will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and probably update to KitKat when the time comes.
The 4.5-inch device will feature an edge-to-edge 720p display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 8GB of internal board and a five-megapixel camera on the back, as well as a 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter.
It is thought the UK price tag will be around £135, though a specific release date is so far unknown.
