We recently reported that Motorola was planning a return to the UK market with a budget-friendly version of the US-exclusive Moto X mobile phone.
The company has now released a launch date for the upcoming Moto G handset by inviting the world's press to an event on November 13th.
However, Motorola isn't giving much away at this stage apart from the fact that it is "hugely excited" about the date, and whatever it has to reveal. The invite also carries illustration of a grass-covered ball with planes, towns, cities and a M-shaped lake in the middle.
The obvious assumption is that the image hints that the Moto G will be a very mobile device that is big on connectivity wherever you are.
A promotional poster was recently leaked from Phones4U that shed some light on what customer may be able to expect from the company with its upcoming handset.
Although many thought the Moto G could be a smartwatch, we now know it will be a budget-friendly version of the US-only Moto X and come running Android Jelly Bean 4.3.
