Motorola has indicated that the Moto G could be launched around the world, suggesting that the company expects much from the upcoming mobile phone.
Rather than being a brand new device, the Moto G is an updated version of the US-exclusive Moto X.
When the device was first launched, many were disappointed that the customisable smartphone wouldn't make it out of the US. However, the Moto G offers a new alternative for non-American customers.
There could be more good news on the horizon as the company's senior marketing director has spoken to Tech Radar.
Speaking to the tech website, Marcus Frost, said: "The reception of Moto X has been fantastic and we're continuously perusing opportunities in the EMEA region, so really watch this space."
This indicates that the handset could make it to other regions in and outside of Europe, though it appears that the firm is still focusing on the continent.
Mr Frost added: "We are serious about Europe and we want to bring strong propositions to the market."
