Motorola has confirmed a date that its Moto X mobile phone will be landing on UK shores.
According to the manufacturer, Brits should be able to get their hands on the device from February 1st.
The company is holding an event for the world's press today (January 14th) where it is expected to confirm full details of the smartphone and put the rumours to rest. It is thought that the device will be offered at £380 for a SIM free handset.
Motorola's 4.7-inch Moto X will carry the firm's 'X8 Mobile Computing System' over the top of a stock version of Android.
However, it appears as though the Moto Maker customisation tools won't be available to UK users but will remain a US exclusive. The device will bring a ten-megapixel camera sensor, which will also include Motorola's Clear Pixel technology.
The camera software features a very different type of shooting mode, which can be enabled simply by twisting and tapping anywhere on the screen.
