Individuals who opt to trade-in a mobile phone over the coming weeks will be in a position to upgrade to the iPhone, on which the world’s best apps may be available.
Best App Ever Awards has announced the nominees for its third annual ceremony, where the latest tools, games and functions are celebrated.
It follows a period where nominations could be made, with 87,138 titles recommended and almost 3,000 apps submitted.
Each of the categories to be determined has ten contenders in place, with potential iPhone owners perhaps watching out for the results so they have a wish list of downloads prior to purchasing the device.
Users are to be invited to vote on what the shortlisted tools with the champions to be announced by the awards’ organisers on January 25th.
The latest version of Apple’s flagship product – the iPhone 4 – was released in the UK and four other countries last June.
