People who subscribe to Office 365 will now be able to get the document editing package on their Apple mobile phones for the first time.
It means that users can now create, read and edit any files that can be read by Powerpoint, Excel or Word.
Microsoft describes the iPhone package as something “similar” to the suite available to Windows Phone users, but it doesn’t come with either OneNote or Outlook.

Initially, this will just be available to US users, but the company promises a worldwide roll out within the next few days.
