Mobile phone users currently in possession of an Apple iPhone or iPad have the chance to map out a summer holiday in the UK with their handset.
Cool Places apps have been launched today (July 23rd), offering information and advice on a host of UK towns, cities and resorts.
They range from seaside spots such as Bournemouth and Falmouth to the historic cities of York and Bath, meaning no matter where people are heading this summer there may be an app to help.
Meanwhile, those without an iPhone or iPad may wish to sell their old mobiles in a bid to raise the funds to purchase one.
Co-creator Jonathan Knight says: "I was determined to make Cool Places the most useful, intuitive and fun travel app available, not just a regurgitated guidebook with pages of text to scroll through."
Last month, Apple released the new iPhone 4, which sold 1.7 million units in its first three days on the shelves.
